Small details can make or break a relationship. You will create a special bond between you and your date by igniting romance, and turning that sparkle into a fire that burns all year long.
Come up with your own little rituals. Jog every morning together. Meet for lunch every Wednesday. Have breakfast in bed every Saturday morning.
Take care of your date when she is ill. Bring her some homemade soup. Drive him to doctor. Send him flowers. Drop off and bring some books and videotapes if she has to stay home.
Let Mother Nature help you spice your relationship with a romance. Take a fall drive to enjoy the changing leaves. Bring along a homemade lunch. Hold hands. Savor the crisp autumn air and the rich autumn palette.
Spend a day hiking along a scenic trail. Bury each other in the fall leaves. Take some nice pictures or bring watercolors and paint a beautiful autumn landscape. Find some nice place to eat on the way back.
Wish upon a star together. Walk along the beach by the moonlight holding hands. Throw coins in a wishing well. Have some public displays of affection. Create some magic moments to remember. Enjoy the fist snow together. Make a snowman. Have a snowball fight. Go sledding.
Go on a wine testing tour. Share a bottle of wine while you get to know each other.
Take your date to the opera. Dress up. Enjoy listening to the beautiful music together. Go out after the show for a nightcap.
Splurge on a special occasion. Surprise your date with a fabulous night out on the town. Treat your special someone to a five-star evening.
Give your date little gifts for no special reason. Hide them in unusual places and wait till she/he finds them unexpectedly. Attach little notes to your gifts.
If you have some talents don’t hide them. Write a poem for your date, paint a picture or compose a song. This will make a unique gift that will never be forgotten.
Express your feelings towards your date in a classified ad in a newspaper.
Create little rituals for different holidays with your date. Trim a Christmas tree together. Sit together under it and share wonderful holiday memories. Hang little cards on the tree saying how much you like your date and what make her/him special. Let your significant other take off one card every day.
Take a fun day trip. Go to a nearby tourist attraction. Break away from your normal hangout for a change.
Try horseback riding with your date. You will enjoy new experience and spend a wonderful day outdoors.
In your effort to be romantic, don’t overdo it. Try to learn your date’s likes and dislikes first. Try to surprise your dates with things they will enjoy. Don’t scare them off with romance they are not ready for. If she is not into sports, don’t take her paragliding. If you are not sure that he likes fish, don’t treat him to a sushi night. Customize your romantic efforts to your date’s personality.
