Corporate partyA corporate party is a party that has its idea as any company does. And that idea is to built a team from the people who are just working together. Despite the money company pays monthly to its employees it organizes the parties to celebrate the holidays or to fix the company successes.
Usually corporate parties are arranged as banquettes at the restaurants or the banquette or conference hall of a company. At many present day companies the corporate culture manages prefer to do without strong alcoholic drinks at these parties. Wine, beer, light cocktails are enough to make the atmosphere more warm and domestic but to not get people drunk to the state when they loose any despite the corporation culture.
Anyone who participates in a corporate party should be enjoying it and relaxing but shouldn't be loosing control because it's still not the time to go crazy. Of course one won't get fired after dancing on a table but who knows how one's chef will look on it.
That why it's better when such a banquette isn't only about eating and drinking. They usually have some entertaining program like funny competitions or rewarding the most eminent in amusing categories employees. The topics of all the quizzes and competitions are usually taken from the company business and history.
It's better when such banquette parties are held after a short working day for a few hours, but not on Friday evening because it's a part of a weekend and not corporate time but time for family and friends.
Still there aren't only corporate banquettes but either corporate picnics or weekends. They happen at the springtime or summertime. They all are including some open-air entertainments and are more active, sportive and so on. Main minus for a employees that he/she can't get off the 'corporation day' with only a couple of hours but still nobody says that a corporate party can't be good time.
Some companies arrange so-called 'family days' when an the families of the employees are invited to visit company office or which is more usual participate in some company picnic. Here the party divides in two ' for children and for grown-ups.
If a family is invited to the office then firsts the employee shows his wife/husband and kids around like 'look, this is the place where Daddy earns money'. The excursion part is followed with a banquette part when one entertainers take under their control over the children part of the guest and the other over the adult part.
Those 'family days' mean the great amount of guests so arranging them on the open air suits more to the number of people.
Corporate parties of this kind have a big positive effect, they make the wives/husbands less complain that they almost don't see their spouses.
All types of presentations could hardly be called corporate parties and they are mostly orientated on the mass media, the partners or clients. But still the employees are invited and there are always some drinks and a banquette afterwards.
The idea of any corporate party is to increase and strengthen the connection between the company and the employees. All other time you work and work and corporate parties is the time when you get your 'thank you' and 'we cherish everything you've done and are doing for our company'.
