This can lead to a lot of trouble, especially if they aren't really sure about what makes a car run well. They may have a small idea and then end up buying a car that won't last much longer then a month. Then what can you do? You can take it back to the place that you brought it from but they won't give you a refund, but they will repair it for you, which will cost you more money.
If you are trying to find used cars and you are intending to go to a car dealer, then make sure that the car dealer is interested in what you are saying. If he or she is cutting you up half way through your sentences, then maybe you should try a different place. Don't let them force you into selling you a car. If you plan to buy a used car then you are entitled to look inside and outside the car first of all. When checking the inside of the car you can check the mileage to see how much it was used by its previous owner. Also if you are lucky then you may get a logbook of the car, this will show you what repairs have been made to it by all the cars owners and also the miles that each owner did in the car. If you can get a logbook for your new used car then that will show you potential problem areas with the car. Also you can see if the car dealer has rolled back the miles on the car just by simply checking the logbook.
Buying a used car can save you a lot of money compared to buying a brand new car. But you have to make sure that you give the car a proper look over before you make a decision on the purchase. If you can get a mechanic to look at the car then that will be even better for you. That will save you a lot of money, as you will be purchasing a car that will last you a long time.
