Nissan began building cars in the early 1930's when it opened its first plant in Yokohama, Japan. The first car manufactured by a fully integrated assembly line system, including nissan auto engines, rolled off the line in April of 1935. The Altima is still manufactured and is Nissan's answer to the mid-size sedan, although it handles and drives more like a sport coupe. There is also the Nissan Titan, Xterra, Quest, Frontier and Armada available on the market. All 2006 Nissan cars or trucks maintain an excellent reputation for quality throughout the United States. It seems as though the strong history of the company itself, combined with the nissan auto engine and the reputation for building high quality vehicles that appeal too many people indicates that Nissan is here to stay and built to last. That is why so many people when buying a new car will opt for a Nissan rather then any other type of car that is available.
