Mitsubishi SUV - The Mitsubishi Road Triumph

If you own a Mitsubishi SUV then the chances are that you are having the ride of your life thanks to the boffins at Mitsubishi who make these SUVS so perfect. There are many Mitsubishi SUVS on the market at the moment and they are all just as great as the last one. There has not been many problems for Mitsubishi when they are releasing their SUVS. The adoring crowd appreciates them and Mitsubishi obviously appreciates the crowd.
Mitsubishi had launched their first SUV as long back as 1982 and at that time it was not perfected as it is today. The Mitsubishi SUV at that was called Montero and it was a very serious looking, no frills vehicle which appealed not through its good looks but through its ruggedness. The initial model was a two-door vehicle which won the rally race from Paris to Dakar two years, once in 1983 and the next in 1985. The Mitsubishi SUV line was upgraded with the next model, the Mitsubishi Montero SUV which came out in 1992.

Through its transformation towards better and better designs, the Mitsubishi SUV had slowly but perceptibly changed from an angular overlook to a rounded figure. The Mitsubishi Montero SUV which rolled out in 2002 was a larger version of the previous models, rounder and with great safety and even luxurious accessories. Its beauty was indeed even better than the last, but it lagged behind on the performance on the road. In the speed test on that year, the Mitsubishi Montero SUV finished last.

The 2002 Mitsubishi SUV model had many problems both in design and performance. It had a sluggish look and feel when moving at high speeds and merging power, and it had a very peculiar useless third row seat which was heavily criticized by one and all. What had going for it, was the powerful engine, and the extra ordinary safari sized sun-roof. The looks had been enhanced by re-designing the hood into a more angular yet front rounded look, and had added a number of accessories and improvement to make a much more stylish car than it ever was.

In this way the Mitsubishi SUV reached to the next model, i.e. the 2003 Mitsubishi Montero which was received with great expectations and joy. It still lacked the V8 power, but it was great on the road and it has far greater appeal than all its previous models put together.

The body finish of all the Mitsubishi SUV vehicles have a fantastic exquisite look and that excellent finish is one of the finest points of the Montero. Due to its extremely high exterior many people tried to ignore the high price set for it. However, the fact that it lacked some important features in the engine and accessories that it came with, as well as its still sluggish presence on the road, the vehicle really did not pick as much as it was expected to pick of the market.

Nonetheless, the Mitsubishi SUV series is one of the most beautiful and most well represented vehicles yet seen on the US market. Due to its very beautiful exteriors many of its faults including the high bill attached to it were ignored. This was obviously a surprise for Mitsubishi. They would of expected a huge uproar from the public regarding the price but nothing was said. The Mitsubishi SUVS wee still being sold at amazing speeds. Mitsubishi will always try and make the customer happy by making their cars as cheap as possible. But if it came down to making a loss or having to set a high price on a car. Then I think we know which one they will choose. After all it is business at the end of the day. And ask yourself which one would you choose.
