Article summary: Young drivers do get a lot of bad publicity and to be fair most of it is justified. Many young drivers will have an accident within their first year of driving and that statistic on its own is somewhat scary. It does also seem to be true that someone who passes their driving test the first time will have the most accidents, but this is just the statistics and it doesn't not apply to every single young driver.
