Discovered: At 18, Heidi saw an ad for a competition called "Model '92" so she traveled to Munich to compete on Gottschalk, a top German TV Show. Out of 25,000 contestants, Heidi won, landing a modeling contract worth $300,000. She passed it up to complete school, but the model bug had bitten.

Model Behavior: In 2002, Heidi dedicated a sculpture she painted called "Dog with Butterflies" to commemorate the role of rescue dogs in the aftermath of September 11.

Sexy Little Tidbits: Heidi has logged numerous TV and film appearances, and has received three Emmy nominations for the reality series "Project Runway." She studied fashion design and has created clothing, shoe, jewelry and swimsuit collections, as well as two fragrances. But perhaps her greatest accomplishment is her three beautiful children.
