Laparoscopy surgery is diagnostic survey of abdominal cavity and its organs through a puncture of abdominal wall by the optical device- laparoscope. For the first time laparoscope was invented in 1901 by the Russian accoucheur-gynecologist D.O.Ottom. Laparoscope consists of trocar (stiletto with a case), lighting and optical systems, devices for a capture of tissue part or organ, foto-and film-shootings and roentgenopaque researches of bilious ways. The laparoscopy is carried out under local anesthesia with observance of asepsis rules. The choice of a puncture place for a laparoscopy depends on the area or on the organ, liable survey. From one puncture it is possible to examine abdominal cavity organs and peritoneum within reach on length of optical system.
Laparoscopy surgery. The laparoscopy can be spent with the purpose of surgical operation. The operation consisting of laparoscopy surgery has the problem of surgical intervention with minimal tissues traumatism. At operation by means of a laparoscopy one - two additional cuts are made - a puncture (5-7 mm every puncture) for special endosurgical tools. The purposes of operations at laparoscopy surgery.
The most widespread operations spent by means of a laparoscopy surgery are laparoscopic cholecystectomy (operation on removal of a gall-bladder) and operations on bodies of female reproductive system. In gynecology with application of a laparoscopy surgery processes are spent at extrauterine pregnancy, cyst and ovary tumors, ovary apoplexy, trumpet barreness, adenoimosis, and endometriosis. By laparoscopy surgery stressful incontinence and a number of other diseases are treated, sterilization is carried out and even the uterus is removed.
The laparoscopy is often used with the diagnostic and medical purpose at a trauma of stomach organs, tumors, and developmental anomalies of the liver and bile-excreting channels.
Advantages of operations with application of laparoscopy surgery.
Endoscopy surgery allows minimal damage to tissues, does not leave cosmetic defect (postoperative seam), minimizes postoperative pains, and shortens the term of staying at hospital after operation.
