The sexual arousal becomes greater and soon a man reaches the point when he ejaculates. This process takes place under normal circumstances when there is a gradual release of chemicals which gives a man an ability to control the process of coitus. If these conditions are violated, ejaculatory dysfunction occurs. They are mostly retarded ejaculation (or anejaculation), premature ejaculation and retrograde ejaculation.
Ejaculatory dysfunctions are caused by various reasons depending on the type of dysfunction. Premature ejaculation is a common and frustrating problem. The causes of premature ejaculation are both physical and psychological. Physically premature ejaculation occurs when a body produces too much hormone too fast. The head of a male's penis becomes very sensitive and ejaculation comes before or shortly after penetration. This type of ejaculatory dysfunctions interferes with pleasure of both partners arousing feelings of guilt, embarrassment and depression.
The overproduction of hormones can be slowed down by taking a small dose of antidepressants. As different studies show, very small doses of antidepressant drug are able to make ejaculation longer by a minimum 5 to 10 minutes with very few side effects. Currently these medications are one of the most widespread alternatives for treatment. Usually young men are considered to be subjected to this dysfunction and it's considered to be a norm for "beginners" in sex. Older men can face this problem because of stresses and fears.
Different physical techniques and methods have been worked out with the aim of delaying and controlling orgasm and ejaculation process. Some exercises are claimed to prolong in 70% of men the time to ejaculation. Though drug and exercise treatments are important marital and relationship issues may be an underlying cause of premature ejaculation. These issues should also be addressed to improve the success of the therapy. So, the cure of premature ejaculation requires a combination of products that simultaneously attack and eliminate each cause.
As for another types of ejaculatory dysfunction, causes of anejaculation or retarded ejaculation; the in-take of chemicals that lower blood pressure, age changes in an organism, psychological or neurotic disorders, inflammatory processes or traumas of the reproductive system, injuries of nervous fibrils under surgical operations. Retrograde ejaculation occurs when sperm is released into the cavity of the urinal bladder. The reason of it is in the physical condition of the sphincter.
Men having troubles with ejaculation usually experience difficulty fathering a child. But there is a certain way out as these men can use penile simulation to obtain sperm for artificial insemination. Stimulation can be done with a vibrator but if it's not a success then rectal probe electroejaculation is an option. In this procedure an electrical probe is inserted into the rectum to stimulate ejaculation. If to draw a conclusion, it should be said that although ejaculatory dysfunctions are serious issues; modern medicine has achieved a great success in treating these problems.
