What are the main hair removal interdictions

Added: 11/11/2005

Excess hair is a great problem for every woman. And even many men want to get rid of unwanted hair on their bodies. Luckily, these days such a problem has an easy solution - there are many different hair removing methods available. But you have to be careful with that as long as there are hair removal interdictions like recent face peel, for example. If you've had recent laser procedures it is also better to wait a little with hair removal.

Different ways of hair removal have been in use for centuries now. Even ancient people used such techniques as waxing or sugaring. But today, the number of available methods to remove unwanted hair is much bigger.

The most popular techniques, of course, for removing hair are shaving and waxing. It is pretty easy to understand such popularity - these methods are very easy to use and they are cheap.  And the most popular, shaving, can be easily done at home - convenient.  But they also have their disadvantages.

Shaving is probably the most widely used hair removal procedure.  Although it is very easy it gives results for only a day or so. In some rare cases, this may even need to be done twice a day. That means that you need to repeat this procedure over and over again. And, of course, there is always a possibility of cuts that do not look good on your skin.

Women who want longer results usually use waxing. In this case you won't get those awful cuts but the procedure itself is very painful. There are many different ways to lessen the painful sensation - but it is still unpleasant. The result of waxing will last for about a week so you won't need to repeat this procedure as often as shaving.

You can also use the numerous modifications of depilators. This electric device removes hair more like waxing, but another advantage is that it reduces the painful sensations. Many devices even have special techniques (like quizzing your skin in a special way or using of special freezing attachments) that lessen the pain even more. The result of such hair removal procedure will last for several weeks. So, in many cases you can easily forget about unwanted hair for a month or so.

In all of the aforementioned methods, the main disadvantage is that they do not give permanent results - you have to repeat them from time to time. But, luckily, today there are modern techniques that will allow you to get rid of unwanted hair forever.

One of the permanent methods of hair removal is electrolysis. Such a technique has been in use for a pretty long time now, so its methods and results has been shown clearly.

Another hair removal technique that allows you to get permanent results is the relatively new method of laser hair removal. Unlike the electrolysis method, a laser affects many hair follicles at once. This means that the procedure takes less time, making it the better hair removal procedure.

And, of course, if you have decided to go through one of these options, you need to remember about hair removal interdictions. If you do the procedure in special clinic you will probably be reminded about the hair removal interdictions. But if you do it at home you'd better find a complete list of hair removal interdictions to avoid different complications in the future.

One of these hair removal interdictions, for example, there is also the more recent face peels.  The face, as you are well aware, is a very sensitive part of your body and all hair removal procedures need to be performed with great care.  And after face peeling, the skin becomes even more sensitive and it is recommended to avoid hair removal for some time.  Recent laser procedures can also be treated as hair removal interdictions because they increase the sensitivity of your skin.
