Among the different kinds of arts animation is probably the most important one for it is directed to children audienece. Some special inexplicable talent is needed to be among the best animation directors in the world. This brilliant gift was endowed to Walt Disney and Don Bluth, two men who created the genius animation masterpieces produced for children, but interesting and useful for their parents as well.
Walt Disney proved to be an outstanding man in animation history. Among the animation directors he was the first to create many things in entertainment industry. The creator of Micky Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck is the legend of the world's animation history. Walt Disney studio was established in 1923 and now it is a big corporation, offering many various kinds of entertainments for children and their parents. Walt Disney's first hero was Micky Mouse who is now one of the symbols of American nation and a part of the national idea.
With the introduction of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" Whalt Disney became the first to create the full-length animation film. Since the time of Snow White the company of Walt Disney has created and produced a great number of full-length and serial animation films, the most popular of which are "101 Dalmatians", "Aladdin", "Bambi", "Beauty and the Beast", "Fantasia", "Lion King", "The Little Mermaid", "Peter Pan", "Pinoccio", "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" and many others. Walt Disney with a lot of other talented animation directors working in his studios gave the new breath to many famous stories and made us feel like children again and again.
One of Walt Disney's most prominent animation directors was Don Bluth. Growing on the Disney animation films Don Bluth decided to become one of the best animation directors when he was six years old, in 1937 when "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was released. The boy watched the animation masterpiece and decided that he must work in Walt Disney Company at any rate. Since that time Don Bluth has been studying hard and managed the art of animation pictures drawing.
Don Bluth applied for a job and was hired by Disney in 1955. He provided his portfolio, which he had been creating for all these years and got the desired job. However, he decided to quit the job a year later. Since that time the history of Don Bluth's leaves and comebacks began. In spite of the fact that he left and returned to the Disney Company constantly, the animator made much for it. Don Bluth can be counted among the greatest world's animation directors. He was the main person in creation of "Robin Hood", "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" and many other brilliant animation films.
When working over an animation film he always wore several hats and tried to make everything by himself. He was the animation director and storyboard artist; he created his characters and sometimes even composed melodies for his films. May be such devotion to work in every employee of Walt Disney company became the reason of such tremendous success.
