Modern investigating programs and recent lab researches have discovered that there are two entirely different types of skin aging. The first one is really dreadful because of its inevitable nature. It is suggested to be inherited and caused by a certain gene. In this case aging is called intrinsic or internal variant of the aging problem. The opposite case is extrinsic or external variant of the aging. This one is caused by factors of environment (for example influence of sun rays or UV-radiation).
The process of natural aging (intrinsic) is common for everyone. The result of this mainly irreversible process is losing the natural elasticity, getting skin fragile and thin state, slowing of collagen production, sagging effect. At the moment of aging beginning the process seems to be invisible and the signs of aging are obvious only in the decades. The typical natural aging includes such items as wrinkles development, skin thinning, fat loss (that causes cheeks hollowing), sagging effects, skin dryness, sweat evaporation disability and hair loss. The aging control process runs thanks to certain genes.
The case of extrinsic skin aging can be considered more difficult because of a large variety of aging causes. The number of these factors depends on individual human lifestyle, its environment, special conditions, etc. The cause that is clear to everyone is sun exposure. But not everyone thinks about aging skin disorders causes like sleeping position, steady facial expression, climate and indoor heating, diseases and stress and sure smoking that can influence our skin condition and aging.
Thanks to a great variety of aging skin disorders causes researches it is easy to see the real picture of aging. As for the sun energy, it is really not so helpful as we used to guess. Even few minutes spent every day in the conditions of sun exposure changes skin cell structure significantly causing new freckles, different age spots, deep wrinkles, loose skin, blotchy complexion and other problems. This cause leads to so called 'photoaging'. The persons with fair skin have more problems in this situation, than dark-skinned people. During aging in this way skin loses opportunity for repairing and it is resulted in skin disorders and function defects.
Another aging skin disorders causes can be prevented by the person himself. It happens that the person does not pay any attention to the facial expressions at all. But proper policy in this field can provide young appearance. Very intensive mimics lead to fine wrinkles appearing, the skin loses its elasticity and spring abilities.
The sleeping position is also one of the human factors that can be improved. It is recommended not to rest the face on the pillow. The frequent 'sleep lines' can cause skin problems.
One of the most common of aging skin disorders causes is smoking which unfortunately has a steady growth. The cigarette influence is very strong as it starts biochemical changes in the human organism. The common problem for smokers is leathery, yellow skin. At the moment the most important aim of everyone is to reduce the influence of human factors causing skin aging.
