The Long Hard Road to Becoming a Male German Pop SingerThe development of pop music in Germany significantly makes an effect on the modern music generation in the world. The country presented several names of talented Pop Musicians who became famous worldwide: Thomas Anders, Sandra, Sarah Konnor, and even very young celebrity Gil Ofarim and many more. But the most popular male German pop singer who has great experience in music creativity, long history, who sold more then 85 million copies of albums worldwide, who has a great number of awards - his name is Dieter Bohlen.
He was born in the northern part of the country in 1954 in the family of an engineer. His native town Oldenburg was too small and those who wanted to change something in their lives went from there for the best. Dieter's love to the freedom and strong desire to learn more and more new things helped him. He dreamed about independence, but of course, at that time he did not suppose that he could become the most famous male German pop singer in the future. He entered the University, but always wanted to deal with music. He tried to compose his own songs, performed with different rock bands. These performances gave rich experience to him.
Later he began to cooperate with record company Intersong and released his first single. In 1983, he got acquainted with another male German pop singer Tomas Anders who offered him to create a duet, called Modern Talking, and to perform together. Dieter's song you're My Heart, You're My Soul in 1985 shook fans all across Europe. They released their first album. Modern Talking became one of the most popular pop groups in the world. The love of the public from different parts of the world was limitless.
Unfortunately, in three years the group stopped working in order to meet again in a decade. The musicians in this period decided to sing separately. In spite of the disappearing of Modern Talking band from the scene, Dieter Bohlen proceeded with his music in his sole projects and had the great success. His new command Blue System traveled all over the world and gave infinitely many concerts. In 1998, the duet met again with the same name Modern Talking and had been performing together.
In Dieter's music and lyrics he touches upon different subjects and problems, always using his own personal experience and influenced by the other people from his environment. Of course, the genre of popular light music does not let express something very serious. The main goal is to make joy, entertainment, expressions and good mood. But Dieter's songs are variable. He can compose songs about love and about death, joy and sadness, meetings and partings. The music is unforgettable; the melodies are light and are easily memorized.
Today Dieter does not limit his activity in the work with Modern Talking. We works a lot, he cannot imagine his life without working. He composes music for many German movies, soap operas, television broadcasts, and show. He sings and organizes great musical show events. During all these years of the successful career this talented person has proven his right to be the most famous male German pop singer and composer.
