Agnetha Ose Feltskug was born on the fifth of April in 1950. She loved to play the piano very much. Her dream was to become famous and she created her first song. And when she was seven her parents bought a piano for her. When she was fourteen her music teacher told Agnetha that she could not give anything any more. But already at school she organized a group "The Cambers" and they sang songs at different parties.
At the age of fifteen Agatha stopped going to school and she fell in love. The result of it - she created a new song which became a hit.
Then she worked for a car company but suddenly she heard that a group looked for a singer for a temporal work. So she went to try her forces and she was taken. The group liked her so much that she was taken for ever. The only problem was that she slept only two hours. So, she left the car company.
She had been working with this group for some years. One day she sent her records to Stockholm to a recording company "Cupol". And Karl-Gerhard Lundkvist called her and told that they were glad to record Agatha. Soon she signed a contract with them. She worked with this group for some time and soon she stopped working with her group and decided to sing along. In 1969, Agatha went to Germany. When she came back to Sweden she was invited to a TV-show where she met Bjorn Christian Ulvaeus.
Bjorn Christian Ulvaeus was born on the twenty-fifth of April in 1945 in Geterborg. When his parents gave him a guitar he was eleven. He made progress in music but his parents insisted on that fact that he must be a lawyer.
But at the University he organized a group "The West Bay Singers". This group even made tours to Europe. When they returned to Sweden in 1963 they took part in a national show. They didn't win there but Stig Anderson, a famous producer and businessman in Sweden, noticed them and they began working together. The group was renamed into "The Hootenanny Singers".
Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad was born on the fifteenth of November in 1945 in Narvick. Her grandfather brought her up. Later they moved to Norway. She liked to sing very much. She created her group "Anni-Frid Four". She got married and had two children. She was invited to record in one company.
In 1969, at one party she noticed Bror Benny Andersson.
Bror Benny Andersson was born on the sixteenth of December in 1946 not far from Stockholm. He had liked music since his childhood. In 1964, he joined the group "HepStars". It was very popular in Sweden. In 1966, he met Bjorn and they began to work together. In 1972, they decided to make a group. It was called "ABBA".
In 1974, they went to "Eurovision" with the song "Waterloo" and they won.
Te result: ABBA produced eight albums, but sold mega-millions more. By 1982 they decided to work individually. Agatha created the following albums - Wrap Your Arms Around Me (1983), Eyes Of A Woman (1985), I Stand Alone (1987), Geh' mit Gott (1994), My Colouring Book (2004). Frida created Something's Going On (1982), Shine (1984), Djupa Andetag and others.
In early 2001, ABBA got back together and went back on tour. In terms of popularity they pretty much picked up where they left off several years earlier.
