The Best of Tantric Yoga PracticeTantric yoga practice has much in common with raja yoga. Just as raja yoga, the tantric yoga practice includes methods of a concentration, meditation and contemplation, but a subject of a concentration, meditations and contemplation the God is not "I".
Practical value of tantric yoga practice will consist in formation of emotions. The tantric yoga postures are methods of training, domestication emotions for those who possesses especially strong emotions, but whose religious emotions should subordinate to itself all other feelings. Those emotions are scattered, not concentrated, at once carry away the person far and cause strong reactions. At the same time, it is the method of development of religious emotions if they are weak.
The yoga is addition to any religion or introduction in religion for the person of not religious type. Ideas of yoga are closer and understandable to the West, rather than idea of all other sciences of that in the western literature there are works on religious practice, related on the spirit and sense to yoga, though also qualitatively distinct from it.
The works of a similar sort appeared in the Protestant countries, for example, works of a German mystic in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries quite often are of interest.
Everything in Catholicism that had though any life has been killed in days of inquisition; Catholic works on religious practice, such as widely known book over. Differently, they teach to transfer dreams in vigil condition, to transform which into images - quite possible process named clairvoyance.
The same methods of creation clairvoyance exist in modern occultism and play rather important role. The tantric yoga practice can be applied to any religion, certainly, true, instead of thought up; it means that the yoga includes all religions and does not recognize between them any distinctions.
Moreover, yoga does not demand full refusal of a wordy life, and only time care from it for achievement of a definite purpose.
When this purpose is achieved, yoga becomes unnecessary. The yoga also demands more initiative and understanding, being in the active way whereas the monastic life concerns to way that is more passive. Nevertheless, studying of a monastic life and monastic ascetics represents the big interest from the point of view, psychologies (for here it is possible to see the practical appendix of ideas of yoga though, probably, in the other frame).
Tantric yoga description includes ideas that take very important place in Muslim monasteries, in Buddhist monasteries, in particular on Ceylon where the Buddhism was kept in the pure form. Yoga is a way of knowledge. It takes the person to true by means of change of his knowledge concerning to and world around. It is yoga for people of an intellectual way. It releases human mind from fetters of the illusory concept of the world, directs him to true knowledge, shows organic laws of the universe.
It begins with the statement, that the weak human mind never will resolve riddles of a life that such problem demands the best instrument specially adapted to its decision.
