On September 1, 2001, the International federation of table tennis made changes to table tennis ball rules. According to new rules, the set is won when one of players collects 11 points (instead of 21 point) at overweight not less than in two points. After each two points (instead of five points), the serve passes to accepting.

At performance of submission, players make additional deceitful movements, trying to confuse the contender. The technique of submission shares on two parts: the toss up of a ball and impact.

There are some rules of submission of a ball: a ball is thrown from an open palm, thus the big finger is set aside, and the others are involved and densely close. A hand holds before itself or sideways from itself. It is necessary to track that the hand with a ball did not appear below a level of a table, did not cross continuation of a back line of a table and was not above a table - in these cases, the submission is not correct.

And remember, the ball should be launched at any height less than 16 cm from the level of the table.

Submissions can be carried out on the right and on the left of the movements similar to receptions reduction and rolling.
