From the moment of birth, the rug has a certain information field. It contains the representation of the world, cultural traditions of the different people of many historical epochs in the coded kind.
For the ancient manufacturer, the most common rug was an ornament with pawn signs and the symbols for protecting the house from malicious spirits Therefore, the rug was some type of talisman for the owner, and therefore, carpets can also be related to cult symbols of a life.
The value of rugs is difficult to underestimate. In fact, the rug is capable of connecting details of the interior in one, on the contrary to bring it in a disagreement. The rugs choosing takes place in the strict conformity with the furniture, the draperies, the curtains, and the general style of the conditions which in many respects are formed with the built in furniture and a case compartment in place. Therefore, the rug placement in room is an attribute of the good taste of the owner.
The animal leather that saves you from the cold was the prototype of a rug for the ancient people, but Persia became the home of that rug. Only very rich people could afford rugs choosing at that time. Then the French and Belgium manufacturers started to develop their own carpet weaving. Since then, the classical line of a carpet has developed in parallel and different directions: Eastern and European. The rugs choosing of the Persian carpets shows their traditional ornaments which are geometrical and vegetative. In addition, the color scale, as a rule, contained all shades of gold, purple, sated green, and the color black.
Today, the Persian carpets are the most quantitative and therefore, they are recognized as the most expensive carpets. Some of the masterpieces that are made manually have even the passport certified by the government of Iran which confirms the high quality of the carpet. The size of rugs and covered area is included in the passport too.
The Chinese rugs differ in their shapes and sizes. They are made of wool and silk on a cotton background. The characteristic features of them are vegetative figures and relief cut surfaces in a carpet when the height of the pile in the figures is higher than some basic pile of cloth.
Keep in mind with rugs choosing that there are Chinese rugs that are made of cotton besides the traditional wool and silks. Therefore, the figures on them can be the most different from a single strip and very complex and bright, similar to cloths.
More often, these carpets have flower motifs: bouquets of magnificent colors of gentle and soft shades. The Indian masters have created carpets that are very similar to Iranian carpets. However, the pile in them is thicker than a thread and the unit is accordingly thicker on the base of the carpet. Recently, the Indian masters have begun to create carpets of modern style.
Their cloths with many variations of geometric figures are executed in pastel tones. The color palettes of these carpets are rather restricted in comparison with the rich figures in the carpets of the East. But, they look very interesting in modern laconic interiors. The Indian and the Pakistan carpet at first sight remind us of the Persian, not less bright but with similar figures.
