On the market there are now many facials that help keep skin healthy and
young. Natural facials include many nourishing supplements and vitamins to
soften the upper derma layers. Cosmetic facials moisten and nourish skin
well, improve its color, clean and contract interstice and intensify
circulation of blood. Facials are one of the most convenient methods of face
and neck care that can be accomplished in home conditions. Unfortunately,
facials have an active effect, meaning the benefits don't last very long.
That is why it is necessary to apply facials at least two or three times a
week.
A mixture of facials should be made of fresh ingredients just before
application. Regardless of a facial pack it should be put on clean skin
deprived of cosmetics. Steam bath is a very good way to clean skin unless
you have a grid of vessels on it. If you don't, then make a steam bath from
the following components: chamomile, lime, sage and peppermint. Dry skin is
more sensitive and requires a steam bath at lasting at least five or ten
minutes once every two months.
For oily skin, the steam bath can also be applied for 10-15 minutes twice a
month. Steam baths can be substituted with a warm compress. You can use a bath towel for the compress. Before, you should moisten it with an extract
of herbs and flowers. After this apply this compress on your face and neck
and keep it until the compress gets cold.
There are simple instructions on home facials making. They are different
from each other depending on a skin type. Dry skin requires an extract made
from a mixture of mint, rose-petals, jasmine, chamomile, lime, raspberry
leaves, black-currant and strawberry. There is another recipe for dry skin:
a mixture of nettle, plantain, coltsfoot, calendula, aloe, St.-John's wart,
eucalyptus, birch buds and milfoil. But first, you'll need to determine the
dosage. Usually one spoon of the extract is used for one glass of boiling
water.
The pack is put on face and neck starting at the bottom of the neck and then
working your way up, except for areas around eyes which should be covered with a cream. Once you applied a pack, have some rest for twenty minutes. If you want to remove a facial don't use hard or boiled water. A facial should be removed with a mixture depending also on a skin type. If you have oily
skin, you should soften warm water with boric acid; acidify it with a lemon,
orange juice, cranberries, juice of red current. For normal and dry skin,
herbal extracts including green tea, milk, hips extract and cold salty water
are likely ingredients.
Try not to overdo facials because they can get solid and it will be difficult to remove them. As a matter of fact, if a facial is applied for more than 20 minutes skin can get injured and facial muscles can get tired. Depending on what you are going to achieve there are different types of facials. There are nourishing, softening, depriving of fat and other facial packs. They are subdivided into facials for different seasons, age groups and skin states.
Homemade facials are completely natural and have a very good influence upon skin. It is useful to add vegetable oil, sour cream and cream into facials
for dry skin. If you have oily skin you cannot do without fruit acids
containing vitamins and glucose.
