Shaver and Razor - Keeping Your Skin Free of Unwanted Hair!

Added: 02/16/2006

Both a hair shaver and razor are used for the same purpose of eliminating hair in the area where it is not desirable. Each of the above has its own advantages and disadvantages that need to be given careful consideration prior to giving one's preference to some particular item. Nowadays the traditionally used classic hair shaper is very frequently substituted for the innovative pirouette razor kit, which receives lots of favorable reports.

Think of all the places you have unwanted hair; under your arms, on your back, on you're your butt. It can be quite unpleasant and unattractive - especially if you're a woman! Shaving off unwanted hair has become an integral part of the daily routine in the life of both men and women. It has been customary to shave certain area of the body for so long now that the period of time has made it possible to make considerable progress as regards the development of shaving tools. The formerly widely used razor that was unsafe and not very efficient is now regarded as a primitive tool, a true remnant of the past.

Now people are free to choose in the wide array of shaving items available and they are truly spoilt for choice. Actually, though the range of options is truly wide indeed, the bottom line is the following: you have to decide whether to use between the two major options - a shaver and razor. There are several factors to be taken into consideration when comparing the qualities of a shaver and razor.

The primary ones to consider are the following: the safety and efficiency. The modern level of development of the relevant branch of industry account for the fact that modern kinds of both a shaver and razor are manufactured in a way to be ultimately safe and efficient, but nevertheless, somehow one can still notice irritation on men's chin. The rash can be caused by both shaver and razor application on an ultimately sensitive skin, but the latter is much more likely to do harm.

This can be accounted for first and foremost by the specific design of the blade shaver. The construction is such that cuts the hair while at the same time it slices off a layer of facial skin, though it is very thin, it can still be the cause of irritation. This is where cuts and nicks come from, to say the least about blood stains of the shirt. Besides, another thing in which when comparing shaver and razor, the latter is in for criticism, is the indispensable accompaniment for the razor, implying the things that necessarily have to go with it.

Such things are the following: shaving cream and shaving lotion, which form the shortest possible list. However, an electric shaver in its turn requires the availability of electric energy supply, which can in certain circumstances be quite a challenge. But if we compare the mess connected with shaver and razor usage, we come to the conclusion that the latter is surely messier. But credit should be given to razors for the degree of shaving efficiency. Especially if we are speaking about those razor kits that are designed by modern manufacturers, such as a pirouette razor kit, it would not be an exaggeration to claim that the shaving they offer is ultimately clean and painless. If we compare the attributes of modern razor kits with those of classic hair shaper, the latter would not be seen in the winning light.

Taking into consideration all of the above it should be stated that when faced with the necessity of choice between shaver and razor, what needs to be taken in to careful consideration is the quality of the item, besides, what can't be disregarded either is the personal preference.

There are people who can hardy tolerate dry shaving, which is the only way to use an electric shaver.
