Schoolage Problems - Don't Ignore Them!

Added: 12/09/2005

Schoolage problems are the common concerns of both parents and teachers they require reasonable cooperation on both parts in order to assure that the educative effect is achieved to the utmost possible degree. It is necessary that the parents do not shift the responsibility for the presence of schoolage problems on to the teachers, blaming them for lack of professionalism. Parents who teach their kids to keep from lying at home won't face the problem connected with school. The teachers may do their best to train the kids to keep from stealing for example, but the essence is instilled at home.

Many parents shudder at the thought that their child will be soon old enough to start school and if the child did not attend a pre-schooling educational establishment, going to school may reveal a few unpleasant things to the parents. It goes without saying that going to school is an essential part of any child's life. It is a very multifaceted activity that is targeted at the development in the child of a variety of useful skills and habits.

However, the schoolage problems which can be present can somewhat diminish the beneficial effect. Therefore in order for schooling to be able to perform its direct purpose of upbringing the child, the parents should be aware of the schoolage problems that may come up and do their best to look into them in advance.

Like in any aspect of life, in terms of schoolage problems, prevention is much better than cure. The essence of the parents' effort in the domain of prevention of the child schoolage problems would be to try to eliminate the possible troublesome aspects of human interaction at home.

It goes without saying that parents think it is their duty to instruct their kids to keep from lying. Certainly, in this case an inexperienced parent is very likely to say that teaching a child to keep from stealing or from lying is much easier said than done. It is true that this can be a rather difficult task, but there exist quite a number of techniques and methods that can be of great use for parents in order to nip the possible schoolage problems in the bud. Wise parents will gladly make use of the great deal of advice available and also try to find their own constructive way to discipline their child and to equip him for schooling.

Any discussion in terms of schoolage problems is bound to touch upon the subject of educational establishments and the effect they produce on the child's mentality and personality.

The aim of education is not at all stuffing child's heads full of knowledge. One of the foremost aims of education is to equip future citizens will all they require in order to take their place in the adult society. In this respect it seems appropriate to question here the efficiency of segregated schools. Nowadays, like all through the history of human civilization, the society is made up of both men and women, this brings us to the conclusion that a segregated school can not possibly provide the kids with the required preparation for modern society.

Some educators claim that many of the schoolage problems could have been avoided if the segregated form of education was introduced. It may be true in some respect, but despite this fact one remains obvious: everyone entering the adult society after years of segregation can only be in for a shock.

In this regards, a co-educational school offers children nothing less than a version of society in miniature. Boys and girls are given an opportunity to get to know each other and learn how to interact and live together from the earliest years.

They are put in the position where they can compare themselves with each other in terms of academic ability, athletic achievement and this may have a profound motivating effect.
