Model talent agents of AMG had an opportunity to enter financial relationships with their clients and, as a rule, earned hefty commissions for their activity (particularly, for providing more “one-to-one” services). Thus, we can see that Ovitz is trying to create a real powerhouse to both manage the stars’ careers and at the same time – to produce and distribute movies.
One of the greatest achievements of Michael Ovitz is that he has always been earnest with his clients who trust him today. Such an attitude gives him an opportunity to go head-to-head with his first company (CAA) and reach success! It can be easily explained by the fact that many big names have already been with the CAA and then joined the AMG (for example, Laren Holly, Claire Danes, Marisa Tomei, Martin Scorsese, Minnie Driver and many others).
