Fonda took part in various events among them were a program of action to stop teenage pregnancy and to protect motherhood. Jane became a mother at 31 and has three children. Vanessa from her first marriage, Troy Garity from her second marriage and she adopted a child named Mary Williams. In1991, the actress married the founder of CNN and muti-billionaire, Ted Turner. Their marriage ended in 2001. In 2004, Jane announced that she was returning to the stage.

Movie bosses were so amazed at her performance that they decided to ask one of the best Oscar actresses to shoot the sequel to the eighties smash hit, Nine to Five. Two other main actresses Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton have agreed to play in this movie. However, official representatives for one of the best Oscar actresses said that no serious negotiations to discuss the subject of the project have been arranged.
