The association was founded in 1937 and represents the majority of well-known working artists, including directors, writers and other artists and workers in the field of radio, television, stage, literary work and, of course, other entertainment enterprises.
It is impossible to speak about models talent producers and not to mention Sam Jaffe, one of the brightest representatives of modern talent producers. Sam was born on the 21st of May, 1901 and died in January 2000. At different points of his career he worked as a studio executive, producer and models agent in the motion picture gallery.
Sam Jaffe began to work as an office boy for Paramount-Famous Players-Lasky Company. As a matter of fact, he worked there his way up to the ranks of becoming an executive in charge of production. Later (in the early 1930s) we started to work with the Columbia Pictures and then decided to found his own talent agency. Since that time he has been recognized as one of the notable and outstanding models talent producers who represented several popular stars including Peter Lorre, Lauren Bacall, Fredric March, Zero Mostel, Richard Burton, etc.
