The disease had often prevented her from physical activity. Therefore to pass the time found she herself in drawing cartoons and making art.
It is worth admitting that Larissa Meek turned to pageantry in the early years of her college life. It was some kind of challenge for her and helped her to pay for her education. After her competing in the Miss USA pageant Larissa was laid off from the advertising company for being the only 3D animator. It was due to cut backs and failing economy. Later she decided to move to Los Angeles where she was determined to create a web-site for her art promotion (after being laid off). As a matter of fact, Larissa Meek is a self-taught web-designer, and she is rather successful in her job. She believes that after learning 3D animation and the necessary software any other activity seems to be just a breeze. Her first tool of choice was flash; and soon she became pretty competent in HTML and various database driven sites.
