Boutiques are considered to be a part of marketing strategies and business plans of fashion corporations. Usually, they are the stores that are sometimes located in malls or stand aside. These stores sell garments of a certain fashion brand name. One should remember that only very expensive clothes, dresses, footwear and accessories are available here.

Nowadays, in the area of haute couture and pret-a-porte way of life people are sinking in a deep ocean of big money. Only those can afford that, who are very rich and proclaim both wealthy and convenient and beautiful life, and that definition becomes the first rate one, starting to dominate these people`s life.



For the rest there are special hotel boutiques selling both clothes and modern accessories. There are boutiques to compete with run-of-the-mill supermarkets, malls and brand name stores.



A lot of ink has been spilled about boutiques and the whole meaning of boutiques as a place where people can buy fashionable clothes, special gifts, unique accessories, and even food. That is a small shop that offers its clients some sort of specialized product. The product itself is for the chosen ones. That is why because of its individual taste there are a lot of them, they are rather small, and have a constant number of clients, as a rule. Clothes that can be found in these boutiques are very exclusive. The whole meaning of a boutique is that clothes are special for clients. They are very expensive and custom-made. The garments can cover some not-so-perfect places and reveals a perfect figure and vice versa. That is why boutiques clothes is very unusual, and people are talking about boutiques because it offers wonderful service and wonderful prices.



Boutiques are considered to represent the marketing part of the business, that is called fashion or, which would be more exact, haute couture. The newspapers and glamour magazines inform about boutiques that have got new collections or those which have made a brilliant presentation of somebody`s collection. So, a boutique is also a business cell of a big fashion organism.



Boutiques were invented many years ago and we can guess where exactly that happened. Paris is the capital of haute couture, where there are hundreds of them and even more. To answer the question if it is really true, we should think of the whole significance of boutique existence. Boutiques are usually named after the fashion houses, which produce they sell. Those include CHANEL, Dior, Louis Vitton and others.



However, there is a true story about boutiques and their clothes. They are so expensive that there is no profit from buying even a few tens of gowns every year. The cost of shows and presentations appear to be incredible and huge to compare with money they are making from selling some of them. That is why a very popular expression which has been once said is that high fashion is selling a dream. So, buying even perfume or just an umbrella people feel to be special and belonging to the group of people, who are permanent customers of these kind of shops.



To make a long story short and to sum up what has been said above, we can make a conclusion that haute couture with its boutiques, collections and presentation shows, is just for an aesthetic satisfaction. They all are like diamonds - extremely expensive, extremely useful and extremely wonderful.
