 Endoscope brow lift technique

It's a known that there are three kinds of brow lift used in modern medical practice: endoscope brow lift (forehead lift), classical coronal brow (forehead) lift and subcutaneous forehead lift. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. As for the endoscope brow lift it is possible to avoid long incisions using this procedure but the possibility of repeated initial problems (for example, drooping excess skin) can take place.
Nowadays beauty industry offers us a wide choice of cosmetic surgery services for both women and men. One of the most popular skin treatments is the procedure of brow (or forehead) lift that belongs to the complex of plastic surgery procedures providing raising of human eyebrows. The effect is higher, more aesthetic and showy brow position. The problem of droopy skin and lateral hoods is possible to be solved.
Brow lift procedure also guarantees softening of face forehead wrinkles and lines, improving frown lines which are likely to form between eyebrows. As it has already been mentioned there are some variants of brow lift: endoscope brow lift (forehead lift), classical coronal brow (forehead) lift and subcutaneous forehead lift.
Speaking about endoscope brow lift techniques I can't but say that this procedure is not very efficient in the case of baggy eyelids, crow's feet or puffy eyes. In these situations eyelid surgery and wrinkle treatments appear to be more preferable. After the procedure of brow lift the impression of tired, unsatisfied, sad or all the time angry look face disappears.
It's worthy admitting that all variants of brow lift provide the possibility of removing and altering the excess tissues causing some drooping and creasing forehead effects. As a matter of fact brow lift operation has the following performance: the necessary incision is made at the area of ears across the head crown. The incision configuration resembles the image of headphones line. It is important to prepare hair before the operation in a proper way: bounding it up with rubber items. Sometimes it is necessary to shave the incision area.
The procedure usually takes 1 or 2 hours during which brow skin is lifted with maximum carefulness. Metal clips close the incision. It is better to place the incision on the hair state for avoiding its unnatural look after the treatment. The endoscope brow lift performance has the scheme consisting of 4-6 short scalp incisions. These incisions serve as special holes for endoscope inserting. The special device is equipped with little camera on its end which provides the possibility of exact under skin seeing without long cuts across the human head.
The result of endoscope brow lift is almost similar to coronal lift although they have some distinctive points. It will probably be impossible for cosmetic surgeon to alter and remove the exact muscle causing wrinkles on the forehead. At the same time it's impossible to remove excess skin during such kind of procedure. Sometimes it is necessary to drill the scull and place there some screws for securing the scalp and new position. Afterwards these tiny screws are removed or absorbed by the human body. But the level of possible drooping again after this procedure is still very high.
Speaking about Endoscope brow lift technique I can't omit that experience of the first endoscope brow lift took place only in 1995 so the results of this operation are still under discussion. But the effect of the numbness after this procedure is absent. So as any other skin treatment this one has both big advantages and disadvantages and the choice for or against is only personal decision.
