The average male dimensions are the following: height between 5'11" and 6'2", weight between 140 and 165 lbs. The male should also be rather healthy and fit, mature, confident, etc. It's impossible not to mention that keeping in line with the listed fashion modeling requirements isn't enough. To become a fashion model you will need an agent. A number of agencies (particularly large) are known to organize the so-called "open calls" for the local hopefuls. This is a kind of model search or local beauty contest with the purpose to find the next Claudia Schiffer or Naomi Campbell. Even if you don't succeed, such events are at least good opportunities for you to meet people of the fashion modeling industry.
