We are all aware of the harm that narcotics can do, but not all of us know the mechanism of addiction and the effect of the drugs on our health and nervous system. Narcotics help to increase signaling in the brain between neurotransmitters, but affect the state of our physical and mental health, destroying the natural processes in the body. Nicotine in tobacco and alcohol has the same properties of destroying as opioids or, for example, stimulant amphetamine, though they are not so strong.
