There are many instructional designers' models from which the ADDIE model is the most widely adopted model. Thought there are other models being used as well such as the Dick and Carey model. These models are needed in order to create and project any instructional designs but they can be applied to other fields such as programming.

Instructional design work consists in designing instructional systems, models, designing and development. For the first time, the analysis of learning needs should be performed and then comes the systematic development of instruction. But, in the very beginning, it was necessary to choose the correct instructional design model.
