Women usually have unwanted hair that appears almost everywhere - on the chin, upper lip, sides of the face, chest and legs. There are many options which can help you to get rid of unwanted hair. Hair removal is also called depilation.
Depilation is more of a term. Depilation means to remove hair from the surface of skin. The most common and easy to use form of depilation is shaving. But nowadays chemical depilatories are becoming more and more popular. Epilation is also the process of removing hair. But it is the process of removing all hair, including the part of it below the skin.
Depilation is a lot easier than it way seem, but there are also side effects that everyone should be aware of. One of the most popular and widely used depilatory products is depilatory cream.
These creams remove hair at the follicle's base. Depilatory creams are perfect for widespread areas like the legs, underarms and bikini area. Depilatory creams always have a thick consistency, that's why it can't run on to skin you don't want to be treated. Many depilatory creams often include moisturises to make your skin smoother and softer. Before using these creams you have to test a small area of your skin to make sure you dont have any allergic reaction to any ingredients. You must leave a part of a cream on your skin for 24 hours and if you dont have any reaction after it, you may use the depilatory cream. You must salve the cream and leave it for 3 to 15 minutes. The duration of using depilatory cream depends on your hair thickness. After 3-15 minutes you can wash off the cream with warm water. Enjoy the result!
This method of hair removal is the most popular because of its pain-free, inexpensiveness and long lasting effect - for two weeks or so. In general depilatory creams are often chosen by many women all over the world to get rid of unwanted hair on legs, underarms and bikini area.
But it's very difficult to use them on the face, because they irritate the skin and don't often remove all of the hair. Also you may have a great risk to have chemical burns using depilatory cream on a smitten skin. If you don't want to have such big problems you:
1) ought not use soap and deodorant after using depilatory cream. You may have great burns and irritations because all the depilatory creams are made of a strong alkali. In general it's very undesirable to wipe the processed area by some lotion or tonic with contents of the alcohol after removing hair by cream;
2) may just rinse your skin with warm water and drench towel carefully.
But if you already have some burns or skin irritation you:
1) must stop using depilatory cream immediately!
2) just use some cream for sensitive skin or moistening oil like Baby Oil, Green Tea Extract and Aloe and others.
In fact, you must choose depilatory cream according to your own type of skin and type of hair - for example, if you have a sensitive light skin you may have more problems with depilatory creams.
If you use your depilatory cream according to all recommendations, you will not have any problems with your skin.
