Choosing fabric colors on the internet may not be an easy task due to the variations in the way printers and monitors reproduce color hue and color intensity. Sometimes DMC numbers are included for reference even though they are rough approximations only. There are times when even true color experts cannot agree on proper DMC number for a particular color pattern. This can create problems when trying to get a true estimation of fabric colors when you can't see the clothing in person.
