Body Creams and Lotions ? What's Hot and What's Not

The cosmetic cream is considered to be a mix of animal sebaceous and a phytogenesis, lipoid substances, waxes, emulsifier of water. There are sebaceous and emulsive creams. A cream is also divided into categories such body creams, a face cream, a cream for hands, a cream for legs, etc. We will discuss the using of first two kinds of creams during the certain time of the year. What is possible to use in winter, and what is not recommended indeed.

There are a few kinds of body creams depending on their purpose. The most widespread kinds are thought to be humidifying cream, nutritious cream and protective cream. Though it is not excluded, that one cream can carry out various functions. Daytime body creams, as a rule, hold about 75 per cent of moisture and about 25 per cent of grease.

They are so-called oil-water emulsions (on the basis of water), which have an easy consistence. If some time later after applying a body cream there is a kind of irritation on the skin and from time to time you also feel your skin stretched, the reason can be the following: you are using body creams containing too much moisture and a little grease. When the moisture evaporates, emulsifying agent containing water extends moisture in the skin. In this case it is necessary to consult the cosmetician and to use water-oil emulsions (night body creams). Apply cream quickly on the dry skin, (a lot of cream, with a thick layer) firstly on the forehead. From the middle to the right and to the left. From the middle of nose to the right and to the left downwards. From the middle of a chin to the right and to the left.

Night body creams contain a variety of moisturizers. They promote fast restoration of the skin, rather than its protection. If skin does not require additional feeding, it is possible to use a usual moisturizer at any time of day. You should start using night creams advisably only after 27-28 years old.

Some tips on using of a some body creams.

In the morning after washing it is necessary to put on the face a cream for a dry skin. It softens a skin, makes it more elastic and steady against influences of an environment. A cream needs being put of thin layer, and in 10-20 minutes it is necessary to get the face blotted by the soft napkin. It is possible also to do massage with a cream by a teaspoon, heated in hot water (the spoon should not be too hot). It is necessary to do massage by sliding movements on skin lines, to rub also a neck and the top part of a breast. Remove the rest of a body cream with a damp napkin.

Protection of a skin is supposed to be made depending on weather and a season.

If there are defects on the skin of body, freckles, pigment spots, broadened blood vessels, in sunny days put on the protective body cream. Cover the face with the powder. If there are no defects on the skin, then after a nutritious cream it's possible to put decorative (desirably liquid) cream-powder.

In windy and dusty weather before going outside the face needs being covered with a thin layer of protective cream. Then powder needs being put. A dry skin is very sensible to decorative cosmetics; therefore it is necessary to apply it cautiously, necessarily after softening of the skin.

Dry skin with lowered sebaceous glands goes badly through sharp fluctuations of temperature and low humidity of air. That's why, during winter time, in frosty windy days, it is recommended to grease a skin of the face with a greasy nutritious cream in the morning before going out. It is impossible to apply liquid and moisturizer body creams, lotions (all of them contain a lot of water) before going out in winter cold weather. A liquid evaporating in a windy weather will chill your skin more.

There are many other body creams with different methods to be made up (natural body creams, which consist of natural ingredients; and handmade creams), which you can make at home.
