Since early history, different kinds of bath-oils and salts were extremely popular. Thousands of girls and women were constantly searching for new exclusive and effective bath recipes and they do it till our time. There exists a really great amount of recipes suitable for different people and in different cases. Here I'd like to give some examples of bath-oils and salts which could suit any taste.
To make the first type of such oil you will need food coloring, a bottle of jar and Epsom salts. You should add some amount of Epsom salts (enough to fit in your bottle or jar) and food coloring and mix it to make it have one color. Put some perfume or essential (as to your taste). Then your mixture should be put on some sheet of wax paper to dry it and then again to the jar. It is better to leave the jar for some two or three weeks to let all the ingredients mix well.
With the help of such oil put in your bath your skin becomes very soft, even after stress. Note that the water should obligatory be hot or at list warm as it is useful for skin and gives a real moisturizing effect. If you wish additions of plain, herbal-infused or scented carrier oil will also be useful. Such bath recipes are useful not only for skin but also for nervous condition and health in general. It helps to avoid stress and relax after a hard day.
Often coconut, olive, sesame or jojoba oils are also added to such mixtures and it has only positive effect. It is nourishing and soothing and it is not too heavy or light and helps to make the Aromatherapy Bath Oils.
And now next of the most popular bath recipes: 1/2 oz. olive oil, 3 oz. almond oil, 1 oz. sesame oil, 1 oz. canola oil, and one 1/2 oz. wheat germ oil. Sounds like we're ready to make a salad doesn't it? Pour the oils in a jar, cap with a tight fitting lid. And all this should be mixed together. Such oil is mostly used for Basic Aromatherapy, sometimes for massages when the oil is put right on the skin and spread all over.
Next one: take a small-mouth jar with carrier oil, leaving 1/8 inch of space at the top. Then put some oils and shake. And only one or two spoons of oil should be put into the bath.
Next is Colored Bath Salts: You should mix together kosher salt and Epsom salts, add food coloring and fragrance oils. This oil should be put into the bath under running water to feel the power of fragrance and the aroma spreads through the whole bath-room. In this case some substitute cornstarch or baking soda can be used for the kosher salt.
The last recipe will be for Fine Bath Salts:
1/2 cup fine sea salt or table salt, 1 tsp of sunflower oil and 1/2 cup baking soda. All the ingredients should be put into a resalable plastic bag and left until they mix properly. Then 2-3 cups of the oil are put to the bath under running water.
This is just a very small part of the magic world of bath oils and salts. All of them can be combined in absolutely different variations, so you can show your talent and the feeling of different perfumes and aromas. Let your bath "breathe" and give yourself the feeling of real relaxation. Enjoy the power of Basic Aromatherapy.
