A Snowboard Bag Review for Those Interested in Getting Started in Snowboarding

A free flight, a soaring of a snowboarder after a jump on the background of sparkling snow-clad peaks of picturesque mountains and transparent blue sky is really a magnetizing scene. This is what attracts people to this thrilling winter activity step by step making its way into the Olympic Games. To provide some useful information on snowboard equipment for those who get interested in snowboarding I have decided to write a snowboard bag review on my snowboard travel bag which has served me quite a long time and saves me from buying a snowboard boot bag.

The amazing spectacular effect of snowboarding is based on the combination of the skills of a snowboarder and the quality of the equipment at his or her disposal. Strange as it may seem, a snowboard bag makes a very important contribution to the results achieved by the snowboarder. My own experience has proven that this statement is absolutely right. I gave quite a large sum of money for my K2 snowboard travel bag and never regretted buying it. The bag has been in use for several years and has never allowed my snowboard to get wet or damaged. It kept my gear in perfect condition, due to the water-proof material it is made of, even in the case when we had to wait for the bus under the rain. Actually this episode made me write this snowboard bag review

To reach a hidden Australian mountain valley where I usually enjoy my favorite winter activity I have to go first by plane, then by train or van. I carry my snowboard with me all the way, so it has experienced all the hardships of long way transportation and thanks to the padded and coated metallic interior my snowboard easily survives all that without being trashed.

When on the way I am always preoccupied with tickets, passports departure times and things like that, so I hate having a lot of bags with me. That is why my snowboard bag is a wonderful solution for me, since it is a 50% snowboard bag, and 50% gear/ cargo bag. In two special integrated outside compartments I usually carry my clothing and boots. Therefore, I don't need any snowboard boot bag. The boot compartment is padded and is designed so that the boots cannot damage the board. The wise construction of my snowboard bag saved me the irritating trouble of counting pieces of my luggage all the time.

On the right side of my bag there is a small zip pocket which at first I did not pay much attention to. But soon I realized how well it may serve me being a keeper of different small valuables. The small pocket on the left side for tools, gloves, sunscreen and things like that is the last feature contributing to the impression that all my snowboard equipment is at hand.

One more advantage of my snowboard bag I must mention in my snowboard bag review is that it opens wide due to the zip which runs the full length of it. This makes packing fast and easy.

Two adjustable cinch straps help to fix all the things packed in the bag in the right position.

What I particularly like in my bag and want to boast of in my snowboard bag review is its multiple carrying options. Depending on the circumstances I can use this or that way of carrying which helps me to move in the crowded places. It has padded shoulder straps and two rubber-foam handles. However, all the gear packed in one bag makes a considerable weight to carry it on the shoulder for a long time. The problem is solved by the in-line skate wheels which proved to not self-destruct on rough surfaces of the countless roads I took.

The only disadvantage of my snowboard travel bag, the indication of which makes my too sweet snowboard bag review sound real is that it is a bit heavy and occupies much room when stored. That makes the bag rate 9 points out of 10.
