A Drinks Review of Alcohol Drinks

Added: 11/21/2005

With so much on the scene in the way of drinks, we want to present to you a drinks review. Drinking promotes weight loss, so if you suffer from being overweight, it is a great idea to drink a lot of water. Alcohol drinks can also influence your attempts to lose weight, too. It is very important for everyone to pay attention to what they drink, and how much, so this article will present some facts and some guidelines for you.

From sources closely connected to the Coca-Cola and Nestle companies, it was revealed that these manufacturers are going to produce a new drink for people suffering from being overweight. This new drink will be called Enviga and it will relate to the class of so-called ice-tea drinks. The manufacturers believe that this drink will burn excessive calories. Coca-Cola says that Enviga will be an aerated drink and will have four flavoring shades: green tea, lemon, lime and orange.

It is necessary to notice that by now the development of new chemicals has not been confirmed by the officials. The only news in drinks reviews is that there are many surveys and researches carried out and it's too early to say much about the appearance of Enviga. Meanwhile the companies that promote water drinks such as Skinny Water (water that intensifies your metabolism to help lose excessive weight), Celsius (a kind of Cola, which according to the words of the manufacturers, "improves metabolism"), and also Fuze Slenderize (a fruit juice that stimulates the work of muscles).

Scientists don't really share the same optimism of the manufacturers saying that it is very brave to promote drinks under such slogans. Dietary supplements in these aerated drinks hardly promote achievement of the purposes, at least in practice. David Allyson, the professor and chief of the Research Center of Dietary Supplements of the University of Alabama, says that he would never dare to drink such drinks, even though announcements of the manufacturers seem to be reasonable.

There are substances, in powder form, that can intensify the metabolism in the body, rather than make the body spend more energy. It is quite easy to prove or disprove the announcements of the manufacturers, he says. Scientists make a difference between drinks for "super-metabolism" and drinks for weight loss. It can't be unambiguously announced that the drinks will fit everybody; moreover, they can be even harmful for some categories of people.

Marketologists agree with scientists saying that it is only a marketing trick aiming at a short-term splash of sales, and nothing more. Some believe that the Coca-Cola and Nestle companies are too well-known and respected to risk their image for the sake of short-term revenues. The drinks review also includes alcohol drinks, since they contain a lot of calories, hence can be a substitute for a high-calorie fat meal. There are also other drinks in the drinks review that promote weight loss.

Various teas are dedicated to people suffering from overweight; their effect is based on diuretic substances that are to be found in tea bags. Their effect is very soft and doesn`t cause dehydration. The teas promote the withdrawal of excessive water from the body, and will also remove toxins and antioxidants. Weight loss teas are ranked high in the drinks review as they are very effective and have stood the test of time. But we would not recommend drinking these teas if you have problems with your kidneys, as they are influenced very much by drinking much water.
