Hello Folks,
I am a guitar player based out of Sackville, New Brunswick and I have been a enthusiastic guitar player for over 12 years. I have played many different things including a long list of covers but my true passion is song writting. I cannot say if I am good but I will let you be the judges. The following is a post of a song I wrote called Highland. It's a combination of rhythmic alterations and some techniques I was practicing over the summer of 2007. I hope you enjoy it and I certainly enjoyed writting it. Oh also to note it takes about ten seconds to start.

Hi, Brendan! I really enjoyed your song. It has some very pleasant "licks" in it that really seemed to carry it forward. I'm a writer (books and short stories) and it occurred to me while listening to your song that writing music is probably not all that much different than writing a book in some ways. They are both creating something that have been inspired and involve pouring your heart out. The only thing is, usually when people are listening to good music, they feel happy or relaxed. With a book, they run the gamut of feelings that are played out in the story, such as love; hate; fear; loneliness; happiness and all the other feelings that you can imagine. In the works right now but the next piece should have a bit of a south american bossa feel. Thanks for the feedback
