The Poetry Corner"EVERY OBSTACLE IS AN OPPURTUINITY"

By Aj Rich on 09 Apr, 08

Take a glass and half fill it with water. Then ask someone arround you to choose one of the statments to comment on the glass:-
1)"Half of the glass is filled"
2)"Half of the glass is empty"
If he chooses the first option, then he is an optimist, n if he chooses the second one then he is a persimist. The some case is with this statment.....Every obstacle is an oppurtuinity. it all depends on what type of person you are, and on your perspective.

A lot of us might tell youthat an obstacle is an oppurtuinity, but can 'every' obstacle be an oppurtuinity? What if it is so intense and so powerful that it cuts off all your paths for moving ahead? What if it is threats your life? How can a man who is blind find any light of hope from his blindness?

But if u ask me,I will tell that even blindness can bring oppurtuinities. Just a few days back there was a man on telivision. He was blind but he still got world wide recognition because he did not let his blindness obstacle him from flying the longest distance by a cycle. Thus, the matter of making obstacles into
entirly depends on our ability to make use of our resources and what we have.If we think that obstacles are rare oppurtuinities which make us realise our short comings and our weakness,we can start to amend ourselves from this knowledge.May be if obstacles did not block our ways,we might have never learnt our problems and as a consequence,we would have never learnt to find solutions to our problems.

If we start to learn something from everything, from our obstacles that we face, we will eventually be able to fight the obstacles and step into the other side of the fence.............Where golden oppurtuinities might be waiting for us.

Thank you, MALKI
