ive joined this group because i love dogs. and after my last one was poisond, i could never face having another, i love the look of german shepherds but never could afford to buy one.....i have a friend who asked if i could give him a lift to the dog rescue centre, don't like to go seeing all those unwanted dogs.
its hurts me. but i went so i looked around and one stood out. it was page. but it was a bitch and put me offa bit. untill my daughter fell in love with here. so can't hurt my daughter. so i gave in. then my daughter said look at this one their are bringing in. i was told it was being returned because it was being picked on by another dog at this house. so i had a look and fell in love, we called him leo. the german shepherd. got what i always wanted. so i came away with two dogs told you i was soft, its the eyes, not just the dogs but my daughters aswell........

gorgeous dogs great story have had three german shepherds sadly they all died one was poisoned and the other two died of old age, cant have any dogs at moment as privatley renting and landlord not too keen
i just can't believe these stories of poisoning! how the eck did that happen to you both? if someone did that to me i'd go insane, honestly! i homed my last foster dog with www.german-shepherd-rescue-scotland.org.uk , theo, as he was too traumatised and i didn't trust anyone else to give him what he needed... and just now i have a foster dog, a beautiful brindle boy with www.scottishgreyhoundsanctuary.com
