Hi,my dog is named Patsy , but she loves to answer to the name of sprats, she is very stubborn , but would not harm a fly , and she thinks she is a lap dog , also loves sitting and listening to humans chattin, if other dogs are barking at her she ignores them and this makes me a proud Bulldog owner , sometimes i get asked what breed of dog she is , so i always reply a greyhound , some folk believe me, before this bull, i had Boxers, and Staffs which i loved dearly, but nothing seems to compare to companionship a bulldog returns to you, so loyal , and good with children who climb all over her,and she loves it------Hope this dont come across to soppy,

ive joined this group because i love dogs. and after my last one was poisond, i could never face having another, i love the look of german shepherds but never could afford to buy one.....i have a friend who asked if i could give him a lift to the dog rescue centre, don't like to go seeing all those unwanted dogs.
its hurts me. but i went so i looked around and one stood out. it was page. but it was a bitch and put me offa bit. untill my daughter fell in love with here. so can't hurt my daughter. so i gave in. then my daughter said look at this one their are bringing in. i was told it was being returned because it was being picked on by another dog at this house. so i had a look and fell in love, we called him leo. the german shepherd. got what i always wanted. so i came away with two dogs told you i was soft, its the eyes, not just the dogs but my daughters aswell........

I now have 2 white gsd's, Kizzy and Jake.
Kizzy is 3 going on 4 and has been part of my family since she was 15 months old. She was living in a kitchen with 3 other dogs. We had her speyed when she joined us.
Jake is 2 going on 3 and has been with us since he was 16 months old. He has fathered 12 litters, his last giving 11 pups while he was with his previous owners. We had him neutered when we took him in.
They both have full pedigree.
Kizzy is definately the 'BOSS' lol.
They are very active dogs and enjoy a run in what they call their 'garden' (fields at the end of our street).
When they are running they cannot be seperated running in tandom side by side retieving their ball.
Below are a few pictures of them both.

Hi folks please take a look at the pics ive added of Tara.
I had Tara from a rescue centre when she was 5 years old.
She was a german shepherd bitch with a lovely temperament.
After 3 weeks of having Tara she fell ill and couldn't walk.
She spent a night and day in the vets to have tests done.
It turned out that she had really poor hips and must have been on tablets that i was unaware of.
After a while she was back to her normal jolly self bouncing around and playing with her toys.
Tara had a good life from then on even taking holidays with us.
Then one day a routine visit to the vets to have her claws cut ,turned out to be disasterous!!
The vet explained that she found a lump in Tara's spleen.
We will have to operate at once the vet said.
That night i had a call from the vet to say everything had gone well and Tara was in recovery stages.
Phew! good news.
Only an hour later the vet called again to say that Tara had taken a turn for the worse and she had internal bleeding.
We will need to operate again to try to save her they said.
Just under 2 hours later came that call that was to say i had lost my best friend!
The bleeding was to severe and Tara's organs had failed.
30-12-2005 is date i will always remember
God bless Tara xxx
