I have arthritis for the last 3 years and i have it through out my body, my knees are bad and my hips play me up now and again. i live in doncaster and there is no support group here i just wonder if there are any others who have the same as me? who would like to chat to me about it. i'm lorry

hi lorry, I too have arthritis and have had one hip replaced last year and need the other one done. I know exactly how you feel and people can be so inconsiderate about the amount of pain we can be in at times. its nice to chat to some with similar problems. Feel free to reply. Kate.
i was at the doctors yesterday and i have to go back to hospital for aucupunter for my knees and hips.the last few weeks have been bad. i have been reduced to tears at times because the pain has been so bad.the doctor is putting me another pill called amitriptyline. do you know it? i am worried about side affects of this drug. i find wearing satin nighty help me to slide around in bed easier. also when in a car use a plastic bag on seat this helps you to turn easier in the seat. i also use electir blanket on my bed as the heat helps ur body. hope thoses tips help you.
