I am a 30 year old female that has been driving trucks (5-tons) for the past 6 years, it is my life and my dream ever since I was a little girl. I was always part of a tom boy as I grew up and always wanted to drive the big rigs. But on November 15 2007 at 2 am in the morning I had a tragic accident that changed my life for ever. I always every wednesday and thursdays nights delivered and picked up the trader media magazines that is here in Toronto, Ont, Canada. And that wednesday night totally changed for me. I was driving a company truck tandum that was old and had lots of miles on it and really the company should have retired the truck along time ago. But the boss just wouldnt let it go. I had many times had problems with this truck at least once a month but never thought that it would actually try and kill me one day. About my handicap I am in constant pain in my neck, back, right shoulder, right hip, and I had broke my left ankle that flops around when I walk if I dont have my brace on it. I also get really bad headaches cause I had hit my head so many times in the truck during the time of the accident. I am seeing lots of doctfors right now to help relieve the pain and to deal with the mental aspect that it did to my mind.
