Last Sunday, the pastor Julius preached about worrying, using the text from Luke 12:22-30.
He also mentioned about a survey.
40% things that will never happen,
30% things about the past that cant be changed,
12% things about criticism by others, mostly untrue,
10% about health, which gets worse with stress.
8% about real problems that will be faced.
So why worry? Trust God.

Subject: Practical Tools for Success
Body: "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
" - Proverbs 24:3-4 NASB
With God, nothing is impossible! He's the God of both the supernatural and the practical. If we want to be successful in life, we need to seek Him. We must read His Word and apply His principles.
The Living Bible translates Proverbs 24:3-4 this way: "Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts." If we want to succeed, we must be wise planners. Instead of just leaping into action, we must consider our goals and objectives. We must evaluate our options and seek God's plan for how best to proceed.
As we plan, however, we must be sure our actions are consistent with God's Word. Before we make decisions, we should pray and seek His wisdom and direction. And as we approach problems, projects, and challenges, we need to make sure our lives are in tune with His Spirit.
What would He have us do?
We also need to keep "abreast of the facts." This means being aware of the history and background of the situations we face. It is prudent to evaluate the successes, failures, and experiences of others. It means not making decisions based on emotion or feeling, but checking the facts and doing research. When we apply these principles, we have the tools we need for success.
Today, make sure to commit everything you do to God. Always remember that He is with you. He can perform miracles, but He wants you to remember to pray and seek His wisdom and guidance. Be a wise planner, but above all, make sure to base your life on His Word.
Today's Prayer
Father, I commit these situations to You: ___________. I seek Your wisdom and guidance. Direct my steps. Grant me favor. Help me to live according to Your Word. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded!
Body: A well-known speaker started off his seminar by: holding up a $20.
00 bill In the room of 200, he asked, 'Who would like this $20 bill?'
Hands started going up.
He said, 'I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me
do this.
He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill .
He then asked, 'Who still wants it?'
Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied, 'What if I do this?'
And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
'Now, who still wants it?'
Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.
It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.
The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know,
but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.
You are special - Don't EVER forget it.
Pass this message to as many people as you know.
Someone out there may need to be reminded that he/she is unique and is always loved and never alone.
If you do not pass this on, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can bring.
Count your blessings, not your problems.
And remember: amateurs built the ark .... professionals built the Titanic.
