I will tell you a story about a man who lives alone

He was always happy until she left him on his own

He does not look lonely though there is sadness on his face

Most especially when he sees two lovers kissed

And when he sees them embraced

He began to reminisce about the feeling he once had

He just started smiling and suddenly so sad

He wanders why she left him without even saying goodbye

For him that's what hurts the most

And tears starts pouring from his eyes

He began to be aware of the loves cruelty

And now constantly on guard as he face reality

Still he is hoping one day to be given a chance

And this time he will fight for it

To keep that lifetime of romance

So now you heard the story a story from the past

Some happiness is not forever

For there are some good things that never last

he travelled long distance
and nothing else is on his mind
he thinks positive with perseverance
constantly watching the time
looks at nothing but emptiness
waiting patiently and moving slow
afraid not of loneliness
feeling the breeze as the wind blows
the path he crosses is in rage
shaking and rocking him side to side
anticipating his next stage
there's no stopping until satisfied
he's journey continues
even if it takes him astray
trying to search for that catch
the catched that got away
