The competition on the largest international forum of website designers on the Internet, International Web Page Awards, received over seven hundred entries from twenty one countries in 2004. The creativity in interactive design among graphic artists, website designers, advertising agencies and corporations, which offer design and conceptual development services, is the main criteria for the International Web Page Awards. When reviewing IWPA entries, judges use a twenty six-question critique that assesses the attributes of each website. The judges present ten questions, focusing on the graphic design, ten on the content and six on the programming.

One of the leading global Internet professional services companies is headquartered in Los Angeles. It grants a wide range of services, including digital strategy, design, marketing and conceptual development services. In 2004, Zentropy re-designed the site for CitationShares that is a fractional jet ownership company and a joint venture of the Cessna Aircraft Company and TAG Aviation USA, INC. In order to help customers understand the fractional jet ownership, explore plane attributes and learn about the benefits of the CitationShares? program, Zentropy created several tools. This was the key part of the redesign.

Another firm's big work was done for Microsoft. It contains an interactive information site, designed to educate consumers about the Windows 2000 software. This "See My Story" web site was launched in March, 2000. It guides users through a series of video interviews with customers, ranging from CEOs to program developers. In April, 2000, Zentropy won the Internet World Magazine's annual Best Redesign of Site Award for its work on Northwest Airlines' site.

Zentropy Partners was founded in 1999 by former employees of the Interpublic Group's interactive holdings, comprising Hill/Holliday, Shandwick Interactive and other independent firms like Digital Cafe. "Zentropy" - created from "zen" and "entropy" - means "bringing order to chaos," a motto that has clearly struck a chord with its roster of clients like Microsoft, General Motors, Coca-Cola and Warner Bros. Specializing in the integration of technology and marketing, as well as conceptual development services, the firm currently boasts of thirteen offices in North America and Europe and over five hundred employees.
