A cooling system has no changes, comparing to the video card on the G70 base. A central radiator is connected with the memory radiator by a heat tube. The cooler does not take much space. That is the reason why the XFX graphics card is very narrow and takes only one slot. This is a significant advantage, comparing to Radeon video cards, which are too massive and require more space inside the system block. Memory micro chips are cooled by the narrow plate.

In common, the noise level is low enough. Therefore, you can here some insignificant noise in the first seconds after the start due to the turbine rotation. Only take into account that the turbine does not started immediately after the computer switching off.
