The largest Hungarian mobile company - T 8209 Mobile Hungary

Being a part of the T-Mobile group, T 8209 Mobile Hungary is a market leader in Hungary. It renders high quality GSM services on 900 and 1,800 MHz frequencies to almost four million customers in the whole area of Hungary. The largest Hungarian mobile company, T 8209 Mobile Hungary, launched the 3G service and is now preparing the start of even a faster service HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access), which offers a quick email and an Internet access for users of mobile phones or portable computers, equipped with card phones. The experts of the mobile company are going to install this novel feature as a part of the existing 3G network.

With the 3G network, the average time required to download a music piece may be reduced to about fifteen seconds. On condition that a testing is successful and the appropriate terminals (HSDPA mobile phones, card phones) are available, T-Mobile will start the building on its 3G network in the first half of 2006.

In 2004, T 8209 Mobile Hungary has successfully deployed the Amdocs ClarifyCRM solution to manage all the aspects of customer contacts and support for its more than four million customers. Due to this deployment, front- and back-office systems were seamlessly linked throughout the organization.

The deployment of Amdocs ClarifyCRM gave T 8209 Mobile Hungary a centralized solution that did not only capture customer information, but also supported the company's strategic goals: a retention and cross-selling development. Consequently, T 8209 Mobile Hungary could manage the customer experience in a consistent way.

The implementation of Amdocs ClarifyCRM made T 8290 Mobile Hungary the first wireless telecommunications company in Hungary to deploy a full CRM solution. The company was also the world's first GSM provider to present a Multimedia Messaging Service, and was the first in Hungary to provide a prepaid service, Wireless LAN (WLAN) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) services.
