Nokia has announced several new mobile phones during the annual Nokia Connection conference, which took place on June 13-14.
The main idea of Nokia's approach to the development of the mobile phones industry is orientating on the "human technology", where the user is the central and main factor. The official representatives of Nokia underlined that the company pays the greatest attention to the user and his demands, while designing and manufacturing new mobile phones and service solutions. The main idea is to create phone models for a specific user type. Here, the software applications, installed on the phone, play a very important role, according to Nokia specialists. In the future, Nokia will offer different phones with specially designed hardware components and appropriate bunch of the software applications for solving specific needs, like entertainment, multimedia or business.
Among the presented new mobile phones from Nokia are several sliders, high-tech phones and models of budget class.
Nokia 6280 is a top class slider phone, supporting dual standards: WCDMA 2100 and GSM 900/1800/1900. Thus, this phone can be used all over the world, offering its potential users freedom and constant connection wherever he travels. The phone is equipped with two digital cameras, the main one offers resolution at the level of two mega pixels. The display of Nokia 6280 supports resolution up to 320 x 240 and 262000 colors.
Nokia 6270 is a junior model of the Nokia 6280. The only difference between these two models is that the 6270 model does not support WCDMA standard, thus, it is designed for the use only in the GSM networks. The rest of the hardware and functional features of both models are similar.
Nokia 6111 is another slider from Nokia. This model is equipped with one mega pixel camera, 262 000 colored display with the resolution 128 x 160 pixels and twenty three MB of integrated memory.
The other two models 6265 and 2255 belong to the class of multimedia devices. Nokia 6265 offers the latest achievements in the mobile phone industry, featuring two mega pixel digital camera, built-in flash, FM-tuner and MP3 player. The model supports Java games with 3D graphics and stream video content.
Nokia 2255 is the multimedia phone of the entry level, offering FM tuner and support of MIDI format in audio files. The other model of entry level is Nokia 2125, offering the basic set of functions, including a calendar and voice recorder, for the lowest price. This phone will mostly be distributed with the prepaid services of mobile operators.
