A joint venture of Bell Atlantic and Airtouch, PrimeCo Communications was the first wireless communications provider to turn up the CDMA service on the PCS band in late 1995. Motorola and Lucent Technologies were PtimeCo's original cell tower equipment suppliers. The company served parts of the Midwestern and Southern United States. The headquarters were in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area.
