The new anti virus software works in the old versions of the Symbian operation system, such as 6.1 and 7.0. The last version of the operation system, which has a number nine, appeared not so long time ago. The Pocket PC variant of the anti virus software Kaspersky Security 5.5 is also available. The software for the PDA is on the technical release stage and can be irreplaceable for the pocket PCs of the mobile devices. This anti virus software product is developed for the Pocket PC, using the operation systems PC/ Windows Mobile 2003 and the Palm OS.
The data and system anti virus protection are the main purposes for this anti virus software. The PDA Kaspersky Security allows to protect the pocket device from viruses, penetrating into the PC's synchronization, the wireless data exchange with other devices and with varied messages. The Kaspersky anti virus software permits to encrypt the Pocket PC data and to restrict the access to them with a password. The Kaspersky Security for the PDA includes some packages and components:

There are some new features, added to the latest anti virus software releases, such as the new anti virus engine, new graphical interface and automatic updater. The further development of the anti virus software features is on the way and it will be provided with newer releases of the Kaspersky anti virus software.
