The Book of Daniel is related to Dream Interpretation

For literally thousands of years millions of people have read and followed the story of the Book of Daniel. A record that pre-dates Christ by more than 500 years set in Babylon at a time when Jews were sent there in exile. The tale follows the exploits of Daniel a young Jew who rises to power as an adviser to the ruler, Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel is described as possessing the power of prophecy from visions that he has in dreams. This is possibly the earliest account of oneiromancy ever recorded.
Dreams have fascinated people possibly since the beginning of time. Dreams relate to our individual spirits attempting to communicate with us, their physical host. The Book of Daniel is an example of an individual being able to translate dreams into our reality. Daniel possessed a deep understanding of the interaction between his spiritual and physical entities and, as a result, was able to convince the most powerful individual in Babylon to believe in his ability. The Book of Daniel is an extraordinary work given the period when it was written, however its theme is fairly straightforward and simply mirrors what occurs to each of us whilst we sleep.

Daniel was special for he understood much more about spiritual interaction and dreams than would be expected of anyone living in that period. Perhaps the Book of Daniel is more concerned with the concept that dreams are a form of communication rather than just a means by which the mind simply play games in our sleep. The notion that dreams have no relevance to reality is a very limited stance from which to view them. Dreams can be highly charged or comforting and either is a reflection of the spirit dimension and its influence that follows us all until our own return. The reason we all need sleep as any doctor will tell you is to refresh our bodies. It is not humanly possible to remain awake all of your life because sleep is an essential part of the human bodily functions and one that is not very well understood by science because science only looks at what occurs to us physically. What happens to the mind while we sleep is still being researched. Many of us at sometime in our lives have lived through a dream that we sensed as almost real after we wake. Perhaps the reason for this is because our spirit knows the truth and for a brief while was fully able to interact with our physical form. If the Book of Daniel is anything it is a record that proves how important messages within dreams are and makes plain that they should not to be ignored.

A Book of Daniel summary would need to properly reflect how Daniel accomplished what he did through his ability to translate dreams into our physical dimension. Being able to convince the ruler of Babylon that his prophecies were accurate would not have been easy and, had Daniel been exposed as a charlatan it would probably have cost him his life. However that did not happen because Daniel was no charlatan, he actually did understand how to interact with his spiritual dimension and brought back to this physical dimension what he had learned from his visits. Daniel also showed that he was very adept at recalling what occurred in his dreams which many of us fail to do. The Book of Daniel is about how powerful the ability to interpret dreams can be and should spur all of us to revisit our own dreams in order to better understand the significance or meaning of the message that the spirit dimension attempted to send us.

The Art of Oneiromancy can never be totally lost because we all dream and those with a strong link to their spirit will always recognise and pursue the necessary research that may eventually offer a mechanism by which a translation will become possible.
